American Foursquare Art Quilt



Join us Friday, May 7th 10:00am to 4:30pm at the Arthur Community Center to create your own house,  learn a number of art quilt and fabric collage techniques along with some architectural history. The house is created with raw edge applique using glue stick and/or fusibles. We will discuss color theory and how to utilize color in your quilts. Learn how to create a landscape with depth and dimension through fabric choices and placement. Several options will be presented on how to create the background.  Kits are available.

Materials Included: Kits will include basic fabric and other supplies.
Requirements: Black Thread and/or Thread to match fabrics Embellishments (optional): embroidery floss, beads, lace Sewing machine with free motion capabilities Ruler Rotary Cutter Rotary Cutting Mat Scissors Stiletto/knitting needle or pointy tool (optional) complete listing of required fabrics available upon request if not buying the "kit"
